My Life as an Intern: The first day

By Nick Welsh

On August 20, I began my first day as an intern at Brown-Forman. The Human Resources lady, Sue, walked me and another new-hire around campus, showing us the different buildings and taking us to get our Brown-Forman IDs made. I didn't even realize that Brown-Forman existed beyond the building in which my interview was held, so I was a little overwhelmed at first.

What ever happened to the classic American movie monsters?

By Julia Zalewski

Insisting on sleeping with a night light on at the age of nineteen quite frankly may agree with the fantastical Peter Pan theory of never wanting to grow up. But, after countless nights of wishing I had a clap on, clap off light so I could avoid the risky run to my bed after I switched my overhead light off, and then tucking myself into bed with blankets at chins reach, I am not afraid to admit my secret. I have my reasons; scary movies still frighten the living daylights out of me.

The Bellarmine Historical Society (BHS) has had a strong start to the school year. BHS was a popular club in the 1990's, but seemed to fall off track somewhere along the way. Far away from home: Have your own study abroad adventure

By Arnulf Moshammer

Why study abroad? This question might be the beginning of every application process, or prevent many students from filling out the form in the International Programs Office. And even if this is a very important question, I think there are way more important questions to ask. How could I benefit from it? Is it worth doing it? Can I manage this huge step?
